How many/much?
For countable nouns like tomatoes, carrots, bottles, bars, loaves, cans, or packets use many.
How many tomatoes are there? There are three tomatoes.
For uncountable nouns like bread, milk, cheese, chocolate, sugar, or love, use much.
How much chocolate do we need? We need two bars of chocolate.
New Vocabulary: sail a boat, swing on a rope, dive into the water, row a boat, dry your clothes, make a raft, put up a tent, make a fire, collect wood
Other Activity: vysvětlujeme si rozdíl mezi much/many -> počitatelná a nepočitatelná podstatná jména, dále hrajeme oblíbené hry „Jeopardy“ a „EduCandy“
Debate – na konci hodiny společně debatujeme na dvě různé témata/otázky, každý si sepíše pár bodů a poté nám představí svůj názor, plusy a mínusy atd., dnešní otázky byly: „Should Tiktok get banned?“ a „Are dogs or cats better? Why?“
