Rainforest Mind Map
We thought up Rainforest vocabulary, and did a Rainforest mind map on the white board together, then wrote it into our portfolios

Rainforest game
In pairs we made a game which had a rainforest animal as it’s main character, and presented it to the rest of the class

Tense relay
We divided in to 2 teams to do the theme of the lesson, writing the best Halloween story. We warmed up by playing a game of tense relay, racing to do a fill in the gaps exercise.

Idioms
We learnt some idioms to put into our story, then played a game in our teams to see who could remember the idioms the best.

Halloween Story
In our teams we wrote our Halloween story, containing as many of the idioms we had learnt as possible.
