Homework was set, pages 12 and 13 of the workbook, due next Monday, 19th of October. We went through and corrected the homework we had done last week.

Student’s book
We went through and completed page 14 and 15 of the student’s book, there was some very good reading.

Portfolios
In our portfolios we completed sentences using the unit grammar point……. While one person is doing one thing, another is doing something else.

End of the lesson
We finished the lesson with a very quick game of Werewolf, and then cleaned up the class, and left it ready for the next class.

Unit discussion
We discussed the unit topic ‚Disasters‘, and 3 different types of natural disasters, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, and Tsunamis, and what happens when they occur. We were very relieved to hear that any of these are unlikely in Prague!!

Portfolios
In our portfolios we wrote about what we would do if a natural disaster happened in Prague

We worked through page 12 of the student’s book

Test returns
We received our tests back and our test scores…some really great scores

The student of the month was awarded their certificate. Very well done to them!!

Grammar review
We did a quick review of the past simple grammar that we have been learning in the unit in preparation for the unit test.

We did the unit 0 test, everyone was very focused, and it went well. Early finishers did a word search of the unit 0 vocabulary.

We ended the class by tidying up and putting the classroom back as it should be.
