SB 25-26 Story: Read together, talked about the past, present, and future. Went over new words from the text: Spear, Penknife, Cheif, and past tense verbs.
Video: Watched a video on Indigenous people living in the Amazon rainforest. Had good conversation on the differences of their lives to ours, using the new grammar ‚Have to/has to“
WB 25: Activity 1 and 3
Game: played Bamboozle using have to/has too
Book work: Did SB 24 full page: students in pairs practiced the dialogue in front of the class. We talked about what the dialogue means using ‚has to/have to‘.
Practice: In pairs students made their own dialogue talking about a made up video game or their favourite game, done in front of the class.
New grammar: taught the new grammar, practiced with a quiz and jeopardy teams
Grammar: Introduced new grammar, big numbers, thousands, millions, etc
games: Guessing game: What is the popolation of prague? How many KFC’s are in Prague? Using our new knowledge of numbers to guess.

Mixed Classes with Mr.Will’s 5.A

Watched videos on the animals, had a spelling bee, acted out the animals, and played jeopardy. Also did wordsearch with new vocab!

Today we did grammar review: Past Continuous v.s Past simple
SB and WB page 12 – we listened to the song and sang, and did the activities with it.
Jeopardy – we played in teams of three, covered past continuous and past simple, also question formations and negatives.
Lightly began to introduce the second grammar point using the word „while“

Unit 1 Vocab Words: We introduced our new Unit 1 Vocabulary: smoke, volcano, temple, theatre, statue, vase, fountain, servant, columns, and horse and cart.
Students Book: We worked through Page 16 in the Yellow Book.
Natural Disaster Project: In groups students did research on different natural disasters and presented that information to the class. They researched the following questions.
