Extra credit: Students can bring in a mystery item to smell, touch, taste, feel, or hear. We will play a guessing game with the items.
Summary: We continued our unit focused on the senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste). We discussed our favorite and least favorite things to hear and why.
How can we hear?: Students watched a video on how sound travels. We learned how sound waves travel through vibrations, and what makes sounds higher or lower. We also learned that sound cannot travel through space because there’s no air!
