We reviewed the unit grammar, ‚have just‘ and ‚i’ll‘ with a gap filling exercise.

Warm up
We warmed up by playing a game where we had to take it in turns to think of words from a particular category, like animals, clothing, parts of the body

Vocabulary
We reviewed the unit 7 vocabulary lute, mask, candles, actor, costume, tights, audience and wig with a game of rock, paper, scissors

Homework
We went over and corrected our homework, pages 82 and 83 of the workbook. Homework is set for next week, pages 84 and 85 of the workbook.

Test
Those who were away for the test last week took the unit 6 tests, while the rest of us made stories by writing a line, then folding the paper over for the next person to write a line, then read the story…it was certainly interesting.

William Shakespeare
In unit 7 the kids find William Shakespeare so we watched a short video about his life.

Warm up
We warmed up with a game of bamboozle, where we had to guess the missing pronoun in a sentence.

Vocabulary
We reviewed the unit 6 vocabulary with the flashcards, playing Pictionary, and Around the World.

Portfolios
We thought of our own country, gave it a name, and thought of some rules that people should follow there

Guess the city
We played a guess the city game, watching a video of the city, and then guessing on a map where it was.

We completed page 74 of the student’s book
