Class dojo
We received class dojo points for coming to the lesson with all our books, and being prepared

Warm up
We warmed up our brains and got them ready for English by playing a bamboozle game where we had to form a sentence to describe what a group of pictures together meant.

Vocabulary
We reviewed the unit 6 vocabulary with the flashcards

Grammar
We played a game where one of the students suggested a problem or situation they had, and the others had to give them advice using ‚should‘

Notebooks
We wrote a travel guide to a city of our choice, saying what you should take if you go there, and what you should see when you are there

Student’s book
We completed page 73 of the student’s book

Warm down
We finished the lesson with a game of ‚I spy‘

Unit review
We reviewed all the vocabulary and grammar of unit 5, playing a game of pictionary to guess the vocabulary name, then reviewed the use of ‚It’s made of‘, and ‚It’s used for‘. Finally we went over the use of apostrophes to show possession of something.

Unit test
We did the unit 5 test.

Warm down
We watched a YouTube video about native Americans, and then finished the lesson with 2 rounds of Mafia.

Homework
A reminder that homework is set, page 59 of the workbook.

Warm Up
We warmed up with a game of Spelling Bee in reverse, where we had to work out what the sentences said when all the spaces had been removed, in teams on Bamboozle.

We practised the Unit grammar, ‚It’s made of‘, and ‚It’s used for‘ in a wordwall game

Flashcards
We practised the Unit vocabulary with a game of Fly Swatter.

Student’s Books
We read the unit story on pages 61 and 62 of the student’s book, and answered the first questions on the page.

Homework
Homework was assigned, page 59 of the workbook.
We reviewed last week’s homework, going over and checking the answers.

Warm Up
We warmed up with a game of scattegories in teams on Bamboozle.

We reviewed the unit 5 vocabulary with the unit flashcards and a game of Around the World

Portfolios
We reviewed the unit grammar, the use of ‚It’s made of‘, and ‚It’s used for‘ by picking 4 objects from the picture and describing them.

We completed page 60 of the Student’s Book

We reviewed the unit 5 vocabulary using the flashcards

Unit grammar
We learnt about and discussed the unit 5 grammar points, the use of ‚it’s made of‘, and ‚it’s used for‘. We wrote examples of both of them in our portfolios

Wanted posters
We discussed how, in the Wild West, people could get rewards for catching outlaws and we made ‚Wanted‘ posters for our outlaws.
