Unit review
We reviewed all the vocabulary and grammar of unit 5, playing a game of pictionary to guess the vocabulary name, then reviewed the use of ‚It’s made of‘, and ‚It’s used for‘. Finally we went over the use of apostrophes to show possession of something.

Unit test
We did the unit 5 test.

Warm down
We watched a YouTube video about native Americans, and then finished the lesson with 2 rounds of Mafia.

9.2

Portfolio: We did possessive apostrophe review via word wall, all 10 in the portfolio.

Moving activity: I had students stand up and touch something made of…, touch something used for… around the classroom, then the students were the teacher and told me and others what to touch. Example: touch something made of plastic, touch something used for reading.

Vocabulary review: In pairs students did a word search/crossword with the vocabulary words. The first pair finished got to pick the video at break and students helped each other find the words

Mafia: We did one game of Mafia because both classes were mixed today and the students behaved super well!
