• PAGES 22 and 23 of the Workbook are assigned as HW for 11.11
  
  Intro: We began class with a game of Hotseat to practice our new vocabulary.
  
  Notebooks: We imagined we were travelling in a plane that crashed in the jungle. We were only able to take three things from the crashed plane to survive in the jungle. Students wrote their three items and a reason for each.
  
  Unit 2 Vocab Words: We practiced our new Unit 2 Vocabulary: beak, toucan, jaguar, branch, creeper, anteater, sloth, anaconda, beetle, pool
  
  Big Numbers: We introduced our first Unit 2 grammar point; big numbers and how to say them.
  
  1,000= one thousand
  10,000= ten thousand
  100,000= one hundred thousand
  1,000,000= one millions
  
  Big Number Game Show: We played a trivia game to practice big numbers. Students answered questions on a small whiteboard; guessing things like the population of Prague, how many hairs are on a human head, and how deep is the ocean.
  
  Student’s Book: We worked through Page 22 and 23 in our Student’s Books.
  
  Halloween Party: We did some Halloween related activities and ate some candy.
