~ Happy first day of classes ~
Introduction: We learned students’ names by writing them on our portfolios and having each student say their name. We also practiced our names in the „This or That“ game.
Portfolio: We wrote our names and class mascot (grizzly bear) and decorated our portfolios.
Class Dojo: We learned the rewards system, how to earn points, and were awarded points. The whole class earned points for listening, helping each other, and speaking English.
Class Rules: We decided as a class on the rules we want to follow to make class fun and safe for everyone.
Textbooks: We briefly introduced the new Super Minds textbooks.
Games: We learned and played “This or That”, “Stand up if…”, and, “Hangman”. In „This or That“, a student throws a ball to another student and asks a question like „Cat or Dog“. The receiving student answers and then asks another student a this or that question.
Class Mascot: We introduced our class mascot: the Grizzly Bears! Watched a video of a grizzly bear.
