Activity: Create your won beach resort. We watched a video then Dres our island beach. Each resort had a name, place, and crazy attractions. Students then presented their island resorts.

Portfolio: Unscrambled Present Perfect sentences

Baamboozle: Then we did bamboozle to do a full term review of the year’s vocabulary. We did a spelling be by teams.

Bingo: Present Perfect bingo but the students led the activity and I played. Students used either simple verbs or created sentences using the present perfect.

Mr.Bean: We watched a Mr.Bean with and added worksheet covering past continuous and past simple.

Activity: Played games and did karaoke to close the class.

Portfolio: We did this wordwall and unscrambled the sentences in our portfolios.

video: We watched this video to introduce the Bermuda Triangle before our reading.

SB 112: As a group we did activities 1 and 2. Had each student read each part out loud then correct each sentence.

Wordwall: We did this quiz as a class.

Bingo: We played 3rd form bingo to learn the tense as review for our upcoming test.

Combined classes

Portfolio: Showed a video of the world’s most expensive yacht and we talked about what our yacht would look like. Using hypothetical „I would have…“ students wrote multiple sentences about their boat. Then students presented their ideas.

SB 110 story: We listened to the reading and did activity 1,2,3 and 4 together. Talked about all the stories over this year to celebrate the end of the lesson.

SB 121: Did whole page for review. Reviewed as a class and each student read a sentence.

Battle Arena: Went outside to play battle area with the vocabulary from the last three units as review.

Portfolio: We went over already vs yet. Did a quick, speed round of wordwall in the portfolio.

Review: We reviewed already and yet but focused more on the present perfect aspect of the new grammar and talked about the usage if it.

Bingo: Did present perfect grammar bingo. I said the simple verb and they found the present perfect tense + sentence creation.

SB: Reviewed 107 and did the 108 karaoke and new grammar of 109.

Activity: We did sentence creation using the new grammar and making questions.

WB: Activities 2 and 3 on page WB 109

Activity: Have you ever questions. Using „yes I have“ and „no I haven’t“ + „but, and already and yet“.

Portfolio: Introduced the new unit with boat words.

SB 106: Read and introduced new words.Talked about them and talked about our time on boats. Where we have gone, if we like them, what we like about them.

Spelling bee: Used new and old words for the spelling bee.

activity: we watched the video and drew our own boat. students had to use at least four of the new vocabulary in the photo. After students were finished they presented their boats to the class.

Test Wednesday

Portfolio: We reviewed zero and first conditional. Students made sentences for both then we did this word wall in the portfolio.

SB: We did pages 97 to practice dialogue and introduce ‚What If‘

Game: we played the ‚what if‘ game, each student would say a scenario and other students would follow it with ‚what if‘.

WB: We did activities 2-4 in pairs.

SB: We did the story and all activities on 98 and 99.

Game: We broke into groups and did this jeopardy.

Today we took makeup tests and reviewed the new grammar and vocabulary with students who missed the last week. See you after school in nature!

Portfolio: We talked about jobs our parents or grandparents do. We also talked about jobs that we think robots/AI will do in the future. In our books we made two columns, jobs for robots and jobs for humans. We did this to introduce the new unit 8!

SB 94: Went through new words and did activity 1 and 2.

Spelling bee: Did a spelling bee with the new words

Video: We watched a video on robots taking jobs and talked about if we would for example go to a restaurant where the chefs were robots, or a robot doctor.

SB 95: Introduced new grammar, first conditional. Then did activity 1 and 2.

Practice: We made practice sentences with each other.
