Warm Up: We played our first Wordwall game. Students spun the wheel and practiced saying irregular verbs in the past tense. We then made example sentences with the verbs in past tense. Example: Yesterday, I ate pizza.
Super Minds: We reviewed what happened in the story on Page 8 then finished reading the story with Page 9. The students persevered through a difficult Activity 3 to answer questions about the story. We learned the word „experiment“. At the end the story, the 3 adventurers‘ experiment goes awry and they walk into a mysterious portal. Where will it take them?
Class Dojo: Students earned points for being quick to be ready with their books, helping with tasks and speaking English.
Reward: We played Geoguessr, a game where you are placed somewhere in the world (Google Streetview coverage) and you must guess where you are. We had a round in Latvia and a round in the Philippines.
