Homework: due 21.9. Workbook Page 4, Exercises 1, 2. Page 5, Exercises 1, 2. Page 6, Exercises 1, 3.
Warm Up: We played „Categories“, where students wrote as many „B“ words as they could in 60 seconds. It was impressive how many unique words students came up with in such a short period of time.
Super Minds: We continued with page 6 of Super Minds. We listened to a song about the book’s 3 characters, Phoebe, Alex, and Patrick, and their time-traveling adventure. Trippy. We answered Exercise 1’s questions as a class.
Games: We played a high-energy flashcard review game called „Fly Swatters“. In this game, students are separated into 2 teams. One student from each team is given a fly swatter. The teacher calls out a word („bubbles“) and the first kid to swat it gets a point. I was impressed how quickly the kids had picked up the vocab.
Class Dojo: Students earned points for thinking of a unique „B“ word in Categories.
