Portfolio: We started the class going over big numbers, reviewing the number words.
Student book: We then moved to Student book page 24, where we did activity one two and three. Starting with one, we did as a class and had students read the dialogue in pairs. Then we moved to the third activity where group made up their own instructions to a made-up game. They created a dialogue then shared it with the class.
Grammar: Taught have to, has to, doesn’t have to and don’t have to and created sentences at the board.
Student book: We then moved to SB page 25 where we first listened to the dialogue and talked about about what he has to do. Then activity 2 we created sentences. After, we watched the Leo the Leopard video to review the grammar.
Snake Island: We watched a video on Snake Island in Brazil. After we talked about the what we would have to do and have to bring if we were stuck on that island. In groups the students had to think of three things they would have to do or bring to the island if they were stuck there, as well as three things they didn’t need. Then as groups we shared together as a class.
