Warmer: A game of ‚Hotseat‘ in pairs, Unit 5 vocabulary revision
Portfolio: Unit 6 vocabulary (souvenir, flag, plate, carpet, sunglasses, cup and saucer, cushion, rings, comb, soap, basket, earrings). Students listened to the Unit 6 video at the top of this page and spelled the words, then watched the video to check their spelling.

Grammar: Should/Shouldn’t
Vocabulary Memory Game: Flashcards of all Unit 6 vocabulary (11 words) are put on the board. Students repeat all the words in order and, one by one, a card is removed and they have to remember what was missing and repeat all the words again. By the end, there are no cards on the board and students remember and say all the words! Quite a challenge!

An Interview With My Friend: Speaking practice. In pairs students ask and answer questions with a friend. Next they ‚present their friend‘ to the class („My friend’s name is Bea. Her birthday is the 7th of July. Her favorite color is black. She likes Art. She doesn’t like Music.“ Etc.). Afterwards the rest of the class has to remember a few of the things about each classmate.

Spelling Race: In 2 groups the students practiced spelling the new Unit 6 words using letter tiles.
Homework: Homework will be assigned on Monday 11.3
