Homework: PB str. 71/2 – vypracovat prosím do následující středy

PB70 – opakujeme slovíčka podle obrázkových kartiček

Grammar – procvičujeme přítomný čas průběhový: “You are running, walking, talking, singing, dancing, playing football/basketball, baseball, riding a bike/horse/motorbike, taking a photo, playing the guitar/piano, etc”

Portfolio – PB70 – doplňujeme do sešitů – “He’s ______ing. She’s _______ing. They’re ______ing.”

Ptáme se – “What’s he/she doing? What are they doing?” Děti zapisují odpovědi – “She’s painting. He’s playing baseball. They’re playing hockey.”

Game – charades – hádáme, předvádíme pantomimou “What’s he/she doing? What are they doing?” , “He’s/She’s/They’re ________ing.” 

Game – Hot potato – ptáme se s pomocí obrázkových karet – “What’s this?” Then, “Do you like _______-ing?” “Yes, I do./No, I don’t.”

Opakujeme slovíčka příběhu (trees, mouse, owl, snake, gruffalo).

“Where is/are the green wart, black tongue, knobbly knees, turned out toes, orange eyes, purple prickles, terrible claws, terrible teeth, terrible tusks?” 

Activity – podle instrukcí malujeme Gruffalo do sešitů – He has a big brown circle for his body, and a smaller circle for his head. He has two big, pointy ears, and a long brown tail. He has two arms and two legs………. 

Bookwork – PB75 -sledujeme video 

Class Dojo  – rozdělujeme body za práci v hodině

  • Portfolio – PB74 (obrázek)  – “What’s he/she doing? What are they doing?” – děti písemně odpovídaly: “They’re singing. He’s swinging. She’s dancing.” Students write their answers in their books. 
  • Pohyb podle pokynů:  “You are flying a plane, riding a bike, riding a horse, singing, walking, reading, etc.”
  • Charades – každý vždy předváděl podle obrázku, ptal se ostatních (What am I doing?) a ti odpovídali: “You’re ______ing.”

Homework (HW): AB 65/3

Pupil’s Book: 70 (video and reading about endangered animals)

Portfolio: Create an “extinct” animal. Students picked 2-3 animals and combined them. Using past tense verbs, they told their partner what it looked like, what it ate, what it drank, when it died, etc.

Create a quiz: With their homework (interesting facts about endangered animals), students created quiz questions to test the other students‘ animal knowledge.

Introduction: Unit Song (PB 67).

Portfolio: Zapisujeme odpovědi –  Write an animal that’s bigger than a dolphin/ has got big teeth/can fly.

Activity: Hot Seat – jeden sedí na židli a hádá zvíře, které ostatní popisují.

Žáci vymýšlí fantastická zvířátka! Nakreslí je, vymyslí jim jméno a napíšou o něm čtyři věty.

Bookwork: PB 70, PB 70/1- popcorn reading; 70/2, AB 70/1, PB 71/4.

Vocabulary: Bird, bright, butterfly, camouflage, escape, grasshopper, hard, hippo, hummingbird, octopus, poisonous, sea turtle, shell, wings.

 Grammar: Recognizing adjectives (e.g. hard, big, orange, black, bright).

Students will research information about 8 endangered animals (AB67/1), and then create a quiz for their classmates. 

Summary: We continued working on unit 7. We focused on different endangered animals (Siberian tiger, polar bear, Ganges river dolphin, Poison Dart Frog, etc)

Cambridge exam: Students practiced some test taking skills to prepare them for the Cambridge Flyers exam. Every week until the exam we will practice their test taking skills for listening, speaking, reading and writing.
